The Inspiring Women in STEM (IWSTEM) Conference is a professional development and networking event designed to encourage, support and inspire women involved in all aspects of STEM in their professional lives, including industrial and government scientists and engineers, academic researchers, STEM educators, college students, and entrepreneurs.
At the annual Delaware IWSTEM conference, over 300 attendees from more than 70 organizations take part in featured presentations, workshops, panel discussions and audience exercises on a variety of issues facing women in the STEM industries. Topics that underpin the skill building nature of our program include effective leadership, strategic career moves, communication to get results and understanding motivations.
The IWSTEM Conference is presented by the Delaware BioScience Association and the Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance and supported by companies such as DuPont, AstraZeneca, AirLiquide, Womble Bond Dickinson, Incyte, Fidelity, Ashland, Delaware City Refining Company, WL Gore and more….
